Operations Assistant

About the Job

We are looking for an Operations Assistant to join our team.

You will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day administrative tasks ensuring efficient processes both within the team and toward external partners.

The ideal candidate will support the Head of Operations and assist with daily operations.

Operations Assistant responsibilities include customer service support (B2B), organizing files, distributing mail as required, and help secure efficiency within’ the organization.  

Ultimately, you will work with department managers to ensure all administrative tasks are completed to keep the departments running smoothly in a harmonized collaborative approach with internal & external partners.

As an individual you find it natural to help foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the team and a structured and actionable mindset is a must.

 

Your Responsibilities 

  • Assist with the management of daily operations, including coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth operations 
  • Assist with the implementation of new policies and procedures to improve operations 
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain relationships with partners and clients 
  • Prepare and file forms and other documents 
  • Update logs and order forms 
  • Provide support to the Head of Operations as needed 

 

Requirements and Skills 

  • Proven work experience as an Operations Assistant or similar role 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills 
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs 
  • Understanding of the online payments landscape (big plus!)
